Deepa Bhatia is a Mumbai-based, award-winning film editor, documentary director and producer, known for her significant contributions to contemporary Hindi cinema. With a career spanning over two decades, she has established herself as one of the most respected editors in the industry.
Over the years, she has worked on several acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Taare Zameen Par, Rock On!!, My Name Is Khan, Kai Po Che!, Student of the Year, and Raees. Her documentary Nero’s Guests: The Age of Inequality won several national and international awards. She also directed the docu-series First Act, examining the lives of child actors, and was selected for the BAFTA Breakthrough programme.
